Badgers (Donashi)
Badgers, the protector of the south also known as flat wolves, are diggers therefore are believed to assist medicine men in digging up the herbs needed for healing. Typically carved low with pointed noses and full tails. The elder brother Badger is red. This Unique Carving was done by Zuni Artist Dannette Laate of White Mother of Pearl. It features an inlayed Sun Face on its back along with Turquoise inlayed eyes. It is approximately 2 inches long.
