Bear (Anshe)
Bears are the protector of the west and are considered the most important
and powerful fetish of all. Bears process extremely powerful healing abilities
but the white bear is the most powerful of all. The elder brother of the
bear is blue. This beautiful bear fetish was hand carved and signed by a
Zuni artist of solid Turquoise. the signature appears on a silver disc on
the side of the Bear. The Bear Fetish is the protector animal of the West.
All Bear fetishes have curative abilities. All Bear fetishes have curative
abilities. Bear stands approximately 1 3/4 inches long by 1 1/4 inches high.
He has been rewarded with a Mother of Pearl arrowhead, turquoise and coral.
He also has Coral inlayed eyes.
