Bear (Anshe)
Bears are the protector of the west and are considered the most important
and powerful fetish of all. Bears process extremely powerful healing abilities
but the white bear is the most powerful of all. The elder brother of the
bear is blue.
This beautiful bear fetish was hand carved by Zuni artist Emery Erischo
of solid Rainbow stone. Bear stands approximately 1 inch high by 1 1/2 inches
long. He has been rewarded with a Spiny Oyster shell arrowhead, turquoise
and coral. He also has Turquoise inlayed eyes.
