Bear (Anshe)
Bears are the protector of the west and are considered the most important
and powerful fetish of all. Bears process extremely powerful healing abilities
but the white bear is the most powerful of all. The elder brother of the
bear is blue. This beautiful bear fetish was hand carved by Zuni artist
Michael Mahooty of solid Magnacite. All Bear fetishes have curative abilities.
Bear stands approximately 1 3/4 inches long by 1 inch high. He has been
rewarded with a Mother-of-pearl arrowhead, turquoise and coral. He also
has Turquoise inlayed eyes.
