The Zuni create many different animals these days. Animals that they see during their daily lives that may not provide benefit or blessing. In creating some of these animals they attempt to get the figure as life like as possible thus featuring some of the finest carvings available.
This Horned Toad is approximately 1 1/2 inches high by 2 1/2 inches long and is exquisitely carved with every detail even the rock he is perched on. He has raised turquoise eyes. Hand carved by Zuni artist Bernie Laselute this is a true asset to any collection.
