The “Barrel and Saucer” bead necklace gets its name from the shape of the
beads themselves. Most beads are made of 2 separate pieces of silver soldered
together to form a sphere, this usually leaves a seam or ridge where the
2 are joined. These barrels are made of 3 individual pieces of silver soldered
together forming a barrel shape. The beads are then filed, sanded and buffed
to create a bead that is virtually seamless. These beads are made of solid
sterling silver and strung on a foxtail wire. Each necklace is then finished
off with a handmade hook that features the artist’s signature and a garnet.
A 2 inch extender is on the other end to give you adjustability for every
outfit. They are terrific as a chain for all your pendants while being the
perfect necklace for casual or evening. Matching bracelets are available
in a variety of lengths.
