A very rare opportunity to acquire a Calvin Begay original. Calvin is one
of the most well recognized Navajo designer/ silversmiths on the reservation.
His work is recognized worldwide.
This bear is very representative of his designs. The Bear is approximately
2 1/4" long and 2 1/4" tall. One side is hand inlayed with over
100 different pieces by Navajo artist Clayton Tom. The other side displays
the planets with stars is a Tuffa casting design (very unique). The bear
is strung on 5 strands of beads made of all the different stones in the
bear. Finished on both ends with silver cones the beads are approximately
20" long. The beads are removable so as to be worn alone or with other
pendants. This is a true collectors piece and will enhance any collection.
